July 11, 1864
Tornado followed 12-mile path, Brattleboro to Hinsdale, N.H.; steeple of church blown down at Brattleboro; structural damage in town.

July 11, 1888
Unusual July snowstorm covered mountain tops with snow following severe cyclonic storm with heavy rains and high winds; party of “twelve ladies and gentlemen” stranded atop Camels Hump overnight.
